Is Castos legit: who runs it

On the documents it publishes, Castos is a named company with an address, dated terms and a refund policy. Its pages name Castos, Inc at 1209 North Orange St., Wilmington, DE 19801, in every page footer and on its contact page. Its About page describes a fully remote team and names Craig Hewitt as founder and CEO.

Castos's terms, billing and refunds

Castos's terms of service were last updated December 1, 2025. They say plans are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. As read on October 18, 2026, Essentials is $19 a month, billed monthly, Growth is $49 and Pro is $99 on the same basis, and Castos Premium starts at $499 a month by contact.

Refunds are narrow: the refund policy says Castos issues none unless a system malfunction caused a problem or an account was terminated without cause, and the terms refund no unused months. The pricing grid also lists payment by invoice and check from Pro. A chargeback has a stated cost: the refund policy says publishing is disabled when the card's bank reverses a payment.

Security and privacy claims on Castos's pages

Castos's pricing grid and the other Castos pages we read name no security certification such as SOC 2. Its privacy policy says Cloudflare hosts the Castos website and platform. Once an episode is downloaded onto a phone, Castos's private podcast guide says, there is no way to retrieve or delete it. Transistor's help center advises companies to treat private podcasts like internal company email, because there is essentially no way to make audio on the internet completely private.

What a Castos trial lets you check before paying

Castos says its 14-day trial includes a private podcast with its subscriber tools, so a buyer can check how an invitation and a personal feed arrive before the first charge. When Podbean or Supporting Cast fits better

Pick Podbean Business when SOC 2 protection and single sign-on (SSO, where staff sign in with the company's own login instead of a separate password) must sit on the plan page. Podbean's pricing page lists both on Business, which is $129 a month, billed monthly, or $99 a month, paid yearly; Podbean prints no year total.

Pick Supporting Cast when single sign-on and two-factor sign-in matter more than a posted price: its pages list both, and its price is on request through a demo.
