Internal podcast platform: what a company needs beyond hosting

An internal podcast platform, also searched as private podcast hosting for companies, is a podcast host that limits listening to your staff. Five features set one apart: single sign-on, a branded app, admin seats, security and integrations. Single sign-on (SSO) lets staff sign in with the company's own login instead of a separate password.

Castos Growth, $49 a month billed monthly as read on October 18, 2026, gives up to 250 private subscribers, the Castos app and up to 5 team members, without single sign-on.

Single sign-on: Castos Premium, Podbean Business or Supporting Cast

Castos sells a contact-us tier it calls Castos Premium on its pricing page and describes Castos Enterprise on its enterprise page, and its SSO help article names "Premium & Enterprise", but no page says whether they are the same offer, so ask Castos before you rely on either. Its enterprise page prints no price and sells by consultation.

Castos's enterprise page says listeners authenticate with the credentials they already have through single sign-on, while its SSO help article describes single sign-on as signing in to the Castos dashboard, so ask Castos whether single sign-on covers listeners or only account holders.

On the pricing page, Castos Premium is listed from $499 a month with a contact-us button, and Castos support coordinates the SSO setup with providers such as Okta, Microsoft Azure and OneLogin. Podbean Business lists SSO login at $129 a month billed monthly, or $99 a month paid yearly, and Podbean says it supports identity providers such as Azure, Okta and SAML 2.0. Supporting Cast lists SSO and two-factor sign-in, with its price on request.

Branded apps and the apps staff already have

A white-label app is a listening app under the company's own name and logo. Castos's enterprise page lists one with no price, and Podbean lists a white-label app as an add-on, also with no price. The Castos app itself starts on Growth, is free to listeners and signs them in with an email and a one-time code.

Supporting Cast says employees keep their existing podcast apps, including Apple and Spotify, and Spotify's help page lists Supporting Cast among the platforms it connects.

Admin seats, security and integrations

Castos team members are just you on Essentials, up to 5 on Growth, up to 10 on Pro and unlimited on Castos Premium. Its pricing grid lists a 100% uptime SLA guarantee from Pro, and no page read gives its terms or names a security certification. Castos's enterprise page says its engineers build integrations into identity, learning and collaboration tools.

Podbean lists unlimited admins on Business and says Podbean Enterprise includes SOC 2 certified security. Supporting Cast lists access by team, department or role, two-factor sign-in and bulk invites.

Which internal podcast platform to pick

Pick Castos Growth, $49 a month billed monthly, or Castos Pro, $99, for an internal show that does not need single sign-on. Pick Podbean Business for single sign-on at a listed price, $129 a month billed monthly, with 100 private members; Castos vs Podbean compares the two. Pick Supporting Cast for single sign-on and group access by demo, as Supporting Cast podcast alternative sets out.

Essentials, Growth and Pro each start with a 14-day trial; Castos asks for a card at the start and does not charge it until the 14 days are up. Castos Premium's button on the pricing page is Contact Us. Private podcast hosting for employees covers access and removal.
